About Us
LookOut
Communications was started in 2008 by Cristina O’Keeffe as a
business to help other businesses. The idea was to create
an enterprise that reflected both sides of her writing
personality: the creative fun of writing and the rush that
comes from good business prose.
The name
LookOut comes from a combination of her pen and
maiden name (Lopez) and her business and married name
(O’Keeffe). Lo and OK combined to spell Look. The
name LookOut has come to mean a business that is always
vigilant and ready to meet the needs of its diverse
clientele.
The dual
nature of LookOut Communications is reflected in Cristina’s
background as a business writer. She is a graduate of the
University of Pennsylvania where she studied English
Literature and Communications. She married her love of
reading and writing with the practical study of marketing
and communications. She can write an interpretative essay
on the gender implications behind Gone with the Wind
as quickly as she can churn out a press release on vinyl
flooring. This flexibility and ability to accommodate
multiple needs keeps her clients coming back for more.
Cristina
has been a writer since the age of 7. Her writing
background includes both print and online publication of
poetry and essays. In 2003, she published her non-fiction
book Finding Francis about the search for a long-lost
childhood friend. To read her author bio or view a sampling

The
mission of LookOut Communications is to enable ndividuals,
businesses or organizations to express their visions through

relationship with a copywriter a reasonable and comfortable
experience, we believe we create an environment that yields
a better final product. When our clients are at ease, we
can communicate better and understand their true needs.

your vision from ideas to words with LookOut Communications.
We look
